Street-Style for Beginners (like me)

Hey everyone! As you can see by the title I am just going to break down some easy ways to dress the trendy "street" style. Street-style got its name because of the fashion not generated in a studio, but from the urban youth on the street. A cool part about street-style is that is not just one specific type of dressing, but a mix.

For me, I see it as a mix of athletic, designer, and easy styles.

(there is no directory for how to dress this style, this is just my opinion)

Have you seen Hailey Bieber's street style? She is probably a pretty good reason this style is a multi-billion dollar industry now. (click here to see)

My go-to's for a good street fashion moment are:

• sneakers/slides (a staple for street wear)

• opposing colored crossbody (what i mean is if you wear black- use like different colored bag like beige or red)

• oversized t & biker short

• jumpsuit/tshirt dress

Here in this photo and the next is me on some steps in Manhattan sporting my outfit. I loved how effortless yet fashion-forward it was. Jumpsuits can be so chic when done right. Pair it with a bag that isn't the same color as your outfit and you are golden. You want each piece to have its moment.

I definitely needed some self-tanner here but oh well! I hope this helped you in some way as too what style/trend is a good one to invest in. I know a lot of the times you only want to do so much with a trend because you don't know how long it will be "in." The good news is that comfy-cool look is going to be around for a long time! (thank god)
