Every once in awhile I crave pancakes. But, I think plain ones are so boring...so we do banana pancakes instead. 🍌
Ok, I hate when you go to a recipe and it takes 6 years to scroll down for the recipe. So here is a quick post for your breakfast needs. 💁🏼
Now, this recipe is for like 6-10 pancakes depending on how you size them up. 🍌🥞
Banana Pancake Recipe
Ingredients
1 &1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar (I like to use half a tablespoon)
1 & 1/4 cups "milk" (I use oat milk)
1 egg
3 table spoons butter, melted (again, non dairy but whatever you want)
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 dashes of cinnamon/nutmeg (or I use pumpkin spice seasoning)
2 bananas (I like them when they have brown spots)
Instructions
Preheat Griddle to 375 F (10mins)
Mix all dry ingredients together in bowl
Melt butter and add in to dry ingredients (& mix)
Add in milk and vanilla (&mix)
Mash bananas in separate bowl (I like them really mashed but whatever consistency is fine)
Mix in mashed bananas
On your griddle (or what you use for pancakes)
Lower the temperature to between 360 and 370 F once you want to add the pancakes and grease the pan/griddle
Use a 1/4 measuring cup for measuring (if you want) and begin pouring out your pancakes
When you see little bubbles forming on the tops of the pancakes or if you see light golden brown around the edges then flip!
